How to view and pay an invoice

See every invoice we've sent you, view the PDF, see how to pay, and notify our accounts team when you've paid — all from the app.

About 2 min to complete
4 steps
Android app or web portal
App screens shown with sample data
1

Tap the Invoices tab at the bottom

From any screen, look at the five tabs at the bottom of the app. The third one is Invoices. Tap it.

If you have an unpaid invoice, the home screen will also show a yellow banner you can tap.

Don't see a yellow banner? That means everything's paid. Nice.
2

Find the invoice you want to pay

The list is split into two sections:

Unpaid — at the top, in colour. Each row shows the invoice number, what it's for, the due date, and the amount.
Paid — below, in grey, with a green tick.

Tap the unpaid invoice you want to pay.

What invoice numbers look like: they start with INV- followed by the year and a number, like INV-2026-0312. Each one is unique and used as the payment reference when you transfer money.
3

Pay, then tap "I've paid"

The invoice detail page shows the amount due, the line items, and how to pay.

You can pay by Airtel Money — see Pay a Bill for the merchant ID and steps. Always quote the invoice number as the reference (it helps us match your payment).

Pay the exact amount, then come back to the DishNet app and tap I've paid this invoice.

Want a PDF? Above the payment details, you'll see two buttons: View PDF opens the invoice in your phone's PDF viewer, and Send to WhatsApp sends a copy of the PDF to your registered WhatsApp number for sharing or saving.
4

WhatsApp opens with a pre-filled message

Tapping I've paid this invoice opens WhatsApp with a message pre-filled to our accounts team. The message includes the invoice number and amount.

Tap send. That's it.

Our accounts team will check the payment, apply it to your account and update the invoice in the app from UNPAID to PAID. You'll see the change next time you open the Invoices tab.

Paid in cash, mobile money, or another way? Just send a quick note in the WhatsApp message saying how you paid. Our accounts team can match it up — the ways to pay are listed on our Pay a Bill page.
